Terms and Conditions of Entry – Snackdown Online Promotion
The Promoter is Cadbury Ireland (the “Promoter”) whose registered address is Cadbury Ireland, Coolock, Dublin 5.
Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.
Entry is open only to residents of the Republic of Ireland aged 18 years and over. Directors, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, management and employees) of the Promoter or the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
Entrants can only register once but may enter as many Weekly Prize draws as they wish during the Promotion Period. Each time an entrant completes a game they will be entered into that week’s prize draw.
To enter, entrants must visit www.cadbury.ie/snack and register validly as a player and must participate in one of three online games. Once you have completed the game you will be entered into the Weekly Prize draw. Internet access required.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.
There are three Weekly Prizes (“Weekly Prizes”) available to be won each week during the Promotion Period. The three Weekly Prizes consist of (1) tickets for 2 to a gig at the Kilkenny Cat Laughs Festival including one night accommodation for 2 in a 3 star hotel plus €100 spending money and (2) a spacehopper for 2 runners up.
The promotion will open at midday on Monday 28th March 2011 and will close at midday on Friday 6th May 2011 (the “Promotion Period”). For the purpose of this promotion, a week starts at midday on a Monday and ends at midday the following Monday
The Weekly Prize draw will take place at 1pm each Monday during the Promotion Period. The three winners will be selected at random from all valid entries on the online database.
The winners of the Weekly Prizes will be contacted by telephone within two weeks of the date of the weekly draw in which they won, to arrange delivery of the Prize. If any winner does not respond to the Promoter within three weeks they will forfeit their prize and the Promoter has the right to select another winner at random from all valid entries.
The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable to any prize winner for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason the prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.
If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, or invalidate any affected entries (this includes, without limitation, by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion).
If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be determined by the Promoter.
In all aspects of this promotion the Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the promotion.
The names of the winners may be obtained after 6th May 2011 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Cadbury Snack Promotion, 6 Ely Place, Dublin 2.
Unless express consent is given by the entrant for use of the personal information for marketing purposes, the personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants. The Promoter is bound by the Data Protection Acts (1988 and 2003). The Promoter reserves the right to publish the names and counties of residence of the promotion winners. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of the Republic of Ireland.

Entrants may enter as many times as they wish, only one correct entry per mobile number per day is entered into the Grand Prize draw.
To enter, entrants must text in their answer (A, B or C) to the “SNACK”, “TEA”, or “CADBURY” outdoor poster. You will receive a text back confirming if the answer was successful or not, if successful you will be entered into the Grand Prize draw.
Each text costs €0.20. The service provider for the text messaging service is Return2Sender 01-6790640. Proof of sending a text message will not be accepted as proof of delivery. To stop receiving text messages text the word STOP to 51155. No purchase necessary

There is one Grand Prize available to be won consisting of €5,000 (the “Grand Prize”) which will be payable to the winner by cheque.
All correct text entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered into a Grand Prize draw for the chance to win the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize draw will take place on Friday 6th May at 13.00. One winner will be selected at random.
